Hydrogen Sulfide Removal
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) is a toxic, flammable gas that poses a serious safety risk for those industries that extract and transport petrochemicals. Hydrated iron(III) oxide is typically used to scrub H2S from gas streams, however, it is difficult to determine when these scrubbers are depleted. Our H2S Scrubber selectively removes the gas from process streams without impacting the oxygen concentration or any other refinery components. It also indicates its useful life through a color conversion, changing from blue-green to black once the active material is depleted.
