Gas Compression System
Custom Sensors and Technology introduces a new gas compression system to measure weakly absorbing gases in a non-absorbing background. The GCS is a fully automated process instrument that is designed to compress and decompress gases to allow for a broad range of gas concentration measurements with a single instrument. The GCS utilizes an air-operated piston pump to compress and decompress a gas sample. An absorbance measurement is made after the compression and decompression stroke of the pump. Fresh sample is introduced to the instrument via solenoid valves after a stroke/measurement cycle is completed. The system is interfaced by a touch screen controller which allows a technician to initiate measurement and calibration cycles as well as log data.
